Cypress’ CYW20719 Bluetooth 5.0 Wireless MCU with WICED® Studio for IoT applications

Cypress Semiconductor's CYW20719 wireless MCU is an ultra-low-power dual-mode Bluetooth 5.0-compliant device enabling a variety of IoT applications including wearables/fitness bands, home automation, blood pressure monitors/other medical devices, audio, and more. The CYW20719 device is manufactured using an advanced 40 nm CMOS low-power fabrication process. A CYW20719 evaluation kit is available to prototype IoT applications using the CYW20719 device as well as on-board sensors and other peripherals. The CYW20719 wireless MCU, as well as the EVK, are supported in WICED Studio 6.1 (and later) which provides application programming interfaces, code snippets, and demo applications to accelerate the development process.   • 1 MB Flash, 512 KB RAM, and 2 MB ROM that stores Bluetooth stack and driver and offloads Flash for user applications
  • Ultra-low-power radio

The CYW20719 Dual-Mode Bluetooth 5.0 EVK is an ideal development platform for prototyping IoT designs with industry-leading Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. This kit features:

  • 40-QFN CYW20719 Bluetooth 5.0-compliant BT/BLE wireless MCU (CYW20719B1KUMLG)
  • On-board sensors: a 9-axis motion sensor (3D digital linear acceleration sensor, 3D digital angular rate sensor, and 3D digital magnetic sensor) and a thermistor
